California Governor Edmund G. Brown has been instrumental in changing the state’s landscape and trajectory in many ways. One of the most significant ways that Gov. Brown has impacted California is through his work on legislation related to vehicle and road safety.

- AB 2923 (2018) – Transit-oriented development for the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District.
- SB 1 (2017) – The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017

- SB 454 (2014) – Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Open Access Act, which makes charging stations accessible and more convenient for drivers.

- SB 1298 (2012) – Legislation creating new laws and safety standards for autonomous (self-driving) vehicles.
- SB 1029 (2012) – Allocated $4.7 billion investment – with a matched $7.9 million – for improvements to statewide transportation projects in California.
